Challenge

CI/CD tools like CircleCI or GitHub Actions are powerful. But for small teams, indie developers, and early-stage startups, the pricing can spiral fast. As a marketplace development team, Journeyhorizon also needs to use CI/CD. We saw the problem, and with our experiences, we decided to build the platform they wished existed: professional-grade CI/CD, accessible from day one, without the enterprise pricing.

What We Built

TurtleCI is a cloud-based CI/CD platform that automates build, test, and deploy pipelines for both mobile and web applications. It runs on dedicated macOS and Linux environments, purpose-built for teams working with React Native, Flutter, Native iOS, and Native Android. Pipelines are defined as code, triggers fire automatically on commit events, and every build is tracked in real time, so teams can catch issues before they become blockers.

The platform was designed with two things in mind: simplicity for small teams getting started, and scalability for teams growing fast.

Key Features

  • Codify your pipeline: Define integration flows as code with pre-built composable modules; recycle flows and split environments without starting from scratch.
  • Multi-OS build environments: Dedicated macOS (Sierra, High Sierra, Ventura) and Ubuntu 22.04 instances, with more environments in the roadmap.
  • Multi-framework support: Works across React Native, Flutter, Native iOS, Native Android, and a wide range of web frameworks.
  • Automatic build triggers: Builds fire automatically on commit events, keeping your pipeline running without manual intervention.
  • Advanced logging: Track build times, monitor each build step, and manage error logs to catch bottlenecks before they slow your team down
  • Transparent, startup-friendly pricing: Free plan with 600 build minutes/month; paid plans from $18.30/month; 18-month free subscription available for early-stage startups.

TurtleCI isn't just a product we're proud of. It's proof of how Journeyhorizon approaches custom app development.

We identified a real gap in the market, designed a solution around it, and shipped a production-ready SaaS platform that thousands of developers rely on today. When your business has a problem worth solving, we have the experience and the team to build the app that solves it, from architecture to launch.
