Journeyhorizon built Gymlend at high speed during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling gyms to rent equipment to members and introducing recurring subscriptions for Sharetribe Flex listings.

Platform and marketplace model

Gymlend is a B2C marketplace that allowed globo gyms to rent out their expensive gym equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic threw everything up in the air, those gym businesses that had significant capital investment in gym equipment needed a way to get that gear out to members and manage the rental process.

Gymlend was built at a frantic pace..10 days from start to finish…it was a mammoth effort by both sides. Not only did we deliver the project within the tight timeframes we also delivered the first ever recurring subscription plugin for Sharetribe flex listings.
